Our History, Benefit, & Format
We have spent over 28 years developing and refining City Bible Institute. C.B.I. has been refined during this period of time to meet the needs of individuals from the Inner City and other areas. C.B.I. can now be taken in our On-line Virtual Classroom. First and second Year On-line Students Zoom.com (virtual classroom) students participate in lectures, discussion, Internship and special seminar. Third Year students take 6 of their Courses on-line on Zoom.com and four of their course Face to Face.

Yes! If you desire a quality academic and practical experience preparing for ministry
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS (First and Second Year Students)
Listen to the lecture, complete worksheets, Write a Short Sermon for each lecture (Template for Short Sermons will be made available to the student in the zip file for the course. All course work is in this website)
Prepare a 300-500 word Sermon / Teaching (Template in zip file for the course)
Complete course Review (in zip file for the course)
Complete assigned reading (if required)
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS (Third Year Students)
Student must attend all ten of the Third year Courses and do all assignments. Six of the Courses are on Zoom.com on Monday evenings from 7PM to 9PM (each course has four combined lectures/Internship discussions. Four of the courses are F2F on Saturdays). Student must complete all assignments:

--Students of City Bible Institute participate in City Assembly of God Training Church to get practical hands on Pastoral experience. The Internship is held on-line at Zoom.com or live at 4720 Jamieson. The Intern will have opportunities to preach short sermons, lead worship, learn how to serve as a Deacon, prepare and present Communion, do a mock Funeral and Wedding and help plan and participate in an Evangelistic Outreach. Interns will also be part of the C.B.I. special Leadership Training.
